My thanks to Dr. John Vanosdoll of VCA Alpine Animal Hospital in Issaquah WA for his care of Poppi. He correctly diagnosed pituitary-dependent Cushings Syndrome when she was age 4. Along with Dr. Polly E Peterson of VCA Animal Specialty Center in Lynwood WA, Poppi was able to live 10 years with Cushings, aging gracefully, and ultimately passing at age 14. She was a wonderful miniature poodle with temperment of a black labrador retriever. Always missed, never forgotten.
