A donation was made in memory of Y-Not by
the doctors and staff at Valley Veterinary Clinic on

Y-Not and his brother, Y, showed up on our back porch at a time that we absolutely did not want any more cats. But, they were there and it was cold, so my husband, Alex Willey, built them a heated Cat Condo and we took care of them on the porch through the winter. The following March we were so excited because we found their owner two blocks away. We took them home and they made it back to our house before we did. That happened 4 times before we finally gave up and they became ours (with their owners blessing.) They moved in 7 or 8 years ago.
Y-Not developed kidney disease not long after he moved in. My husband was the best caregiver for this cat. He always got his special food, water fountains to encourage hydration, toys to keep him active and many visits to the vet. Sadly, as hard as we tried, he just couldn't beat the disease and we lost him on June 5, 2023.
He was the sweetest cat who just wanted a warm spot on the couch or bed, some tasty treats occasionally and lots and lots of love. We miss him terribly.
