Stella came to our house on a record breaking, hottest day of the year. Her long fur coat weighing her down making her hotter. Our pond was full of cool water drawing her to our home. She allowed us to put wet cool towels on but didn't want us to touch her. After a few days of cooling and feeding we could pet her. We tried finding her parents but with no collar or chip we couldn't find them. 10 years later she passed away leaving a void in our hearts. We miss our little one eyed girl that trained us to obey her every command, rewarding us with snuggles and love. She cuddled in bed with us, waking us when she wanted love and petting. We wish we could hear her meows demanding love now. We miss you sweet Stella and will see you again someday.
