Tallulah came into my life in 2002, when she was just a few weeks old. I remember thinking when I first took her in that I really didn't need or want a cat, but I didn't have the heart to turn her away. Little did I know, that decision to take her in would be one of the best and worst decisions I ever made. It was the best decision because she brought so much love, joy, and laughter into my life. It was the worst because that decision opened me up to feeling the overwhelming and devastating pain I am feeling now, having lost her. She was a very unique cat. She loved sharing graham crackers with me, fetching rubber bands, sitting on cardboard, and batting around anything that happened to be round and shiny. She was freakishly smart, patient, and my buddy. I can only hope she knows exactly how much she was loved and always will be loved. Always a fighter, right up to the very end, so incredibly courageous, and gone way too soon. My Tallulah Belle Elizabeth. You meant the world to your human, Erica. Until we meet at the Rainbow Bridge, I shall be thinking of and missing you.
