Lily was a loyal companion beyond description. My princess. At times my life coach. She was nicknamed "the pancreas" because she was never far from my side:) She trusted me and I trusted her. I will miss her, as I know she will miss me.
She was a rescue dog and I could never understand how a dog with so many special qualities ever ended up without a home. I was fortunate enough to share my home with her.
She loved frisbee, swimming, shade and rolling in cow/horse poop. She never wanted to be left behind. Wallowa Lake was her special place.
She hated the mailman.
She loved me.....and I loved her
From the moment I saw her she was the dog I always imagined having........and thats how I will forever remember her.
In early May 2010 Lily was diagnosed with immune mediated hemolytic anemia. She initially responded to medication, but had a relapse in September that was just too much for her to come back from. She was 6 years young.
