When I found Maggie on a rescue site, I was advised that no more applications were being taken. I spoke in length with the rescue explaining why I knew my husband and I were supposed to have Maggie in our lives. The rescue agreed to take my application and within 24 hours Maggie joined our family. It was meant to be from the very beginning. Maggie was with us for 11 wonderful years but sadly we had to say goodbye on April 8, 2019 as she could not beat her cancer. Maggie was the happiest little girl right up till the bitter end. She smiled all the time and just loved being with us no matter what we were doing. She would even sit in our laps for hours on game nights and watched everything we did. It was almost like she was playing right along with the rest of us. She was an amazing little girl! Our hearts and home are so empty without her!
