How can something so small bring so much love into one's life? Finnoula and her sister, Evalyn, came to me as babies at the persistence of one student that we have a classroom pet. They moved into my classroom during the school year, my home for almost 7 years, and my heart for forever.

Finnoula had a special fondness for red bell peppers, but had a passion for all food! Every morning, I would wake up to the sight of two piggies staring at me and a chorus of “wheeks” when my feet hit the ground to go get their breakfast. My students loved Finnoula and her adorable personality. Her "wheek" could light up a room with joy.

I love and miss my Finnoula and Evalyn more than I could have ever imagined, but will forever be grateful for the almost 7 years I had her with me on this earth. Run free now with Evie, my little Finoodle. Until we meet again...
