My Boys gave me my life. I loved them beyond this world. They were sweet and kind and my heart shattered when they trotted into the Spirit World.

The were smart and funny and made everyone's life better. Thanks to all the Valley Vet staff and Ginni Erion. You were so kind.

The Ways of Heroes, The Ways of Horses



My heroes have always been horses Tails high, soft eyes, moving legs That carried me over miles of mountains Through streams and creeks and rivers

My heroes have always been horses Warm and soft noses, soft calling noises A touch, a sniff, and nicker of greeting And at night, a peace of knowing

That my heroes, who have always been horses Are close at hand and dreaming their own dreams Of ghost ponies and the sounds of drums Welcoming them home as they cross the night

My heroes have always been horses For their bravery and wisdom and trust In the bonds we form and the joys we share And my heroes will always be horses

In gratitude of my heroes and in memory of Bailey and Bo

Fly free and in painless glory, my precious Boys. I love you!
