Cosmo:

I brought Cosmo home as well as his brother Paddington 18 years ago. He and his brother were orphaned, having to be placed in a foster home where he had to be hand fed to be weaned.

Cosmo was full of personality, could be sassy, always, always, always had to have the last word. He lived a good and long life, but we as our pet's caretakers never feel we get enough time.

He used to stand up at the top of the stairs while I had practice with my trio. We all laughed as he seemed to yell downstairs, "Mama, Mama." He let you know when he wasn't happy; but with his bright green eyes sparkling, most times he was just content snuggling on his favorite red blanket. I told him the red blanket was fit for a king like he was.

Cosmo had these beautiful little dots on his face, making him look like they were hand-painted. I used to tell him he must have been an opera star in a prior life because when he wanted to be heard he had the lungs that could carry his big mouth from one side of the house to the other. I guess he didn't realize cats are supposed to be stealthy!

I miss him terribly...

Kat C.
