Our beloved Chelsea became a part of our family when she was eight weeks old. Since we had no children, she became our child. She was special in so many ways. We had a squirrel, Rocky, who would visit us every morning to look for the walnuts we placed on the patio for him. Chelsea would try her best to catch Rocky, but he would stand on the glass top table, just out of reach, and tease her. They had this routine for several years, until Rocky no longer came to visit. For many years we could just mention his name and she would run to the door looking for him. Chelsea was the sweetest most gentle dog. She still had her very first toy, and never once did she destroy any of her toys. Chelsea was our best friend and always loved us unconditionally. After 16 ½ years we had to help her leave our world on March 29, 2010. We miss her so much, those big brown eyes, those silky ears, those eyebrows and beard, and that cute little “froggy doggy” position. She will forever be in our hearts. We love you little Chelsea.
