One October evening in 2003, a brown tabby kitten stuck her tiny paw through the bars of her shelter cage, stroked my shirt, and stole a piece of my heart. That little kitten didn’t stay little; she grew up to be a great big beautiful cat—one friend called her my “giant fluffball”—but she was always a kitten at heart. Jasmine was a dear, sweet, funny, quirky, loving little soul—a little bit of God’s love all wrapped up in a whole lot of fur. Jaz, Misty and I miss you so much; we'll see you on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
