Ursa

A donation was made in memory of Ursa by Doctors and Staff of the The Ark Animal Hospital on Jul 12, 2010.

Ursa was a small puppy, that grew into a big goofy, lovable rottweiler. She loved everyone she met, but barked at everyone, as long as they were between her and the glass in the front window. Ursa spent so much time at the vet, (surgeries on all four legs, and various other maladies), that when taken to the vet, she would greet everyone warmly, including all vet techs and the vets themselves.
Ursa loved snow and water even though she lived in the desert. When taken to the lake, she attempted to make friends with the ducks by swimming out to them. The ducks were not too excited about this proposal, and would always keep just far enought away so as to seemingly encourage her to continue, until they got tired and flew away. At this point, Ursa would look for the quickest route back to shore, as she would usually swim about 100 yards out. She loved sleeping on the bed, and, well she just loved sleeping.
Always a warm greeting and never a sour word. We will miss her terribly.

"My dog is usually pleased with what I do, because she is not infected with the concept of what I should be doing" - Lonzo Idolswine
This is Ursa.

There are a thousand crazy Ursa stories, and there should have been a thousand more.
