Nimue was a rescue, and she ended up bonding with me, since I was home more than my partner. She was feisty and athletic, able to jump great heights effortlessly and was loyal beyond what you would normally expect from a cat. She would sit next to my studio door for hours, waiting for me to open the door and let her in, whether I was home or not.

When I finally did get home she would follow me everywhere, and demand that I pet her while she ate.

When my wife and I went our separate ways, Nimue came under my care. I learned a lot about love and duty from her, and when she finally passed I’m guessing she was about 22 years old. She had a good long life, and she could not have been more loved.
