Frisky was the coolest strongest Cat we have had! He was an old barn cat living his best life. He had a bad eye that needed removed. The vet wanted his eye tested for cancer. We declined, brought him home while he continued to hunt and enjoy his best life in the beautiful mountains of rural Eastern Oregon. One eye didn’t stop him from being a mighty hunter! Then a year ago somebody shot him. The bullet went threw his back near his tail. Our amazing vet team saved his life and he regained all mobility of his tail and once again was back living his best life. The vet was right about cancer in his eye. Even with the eye removed his face slowly was getting worse. His head, eye area and nose were being pulled back and he was constantly rubbing his face which kept it oozing and scabbed. My husband and I decided when he stopped coming down to the house for love we would put him down. That day came and went. I couldn’t bring myself to put him down. Then I said when he stops eating. He never did quit eating but his nose was getting so pulled back that he was having trouble breathing. That is when we said good bye to our friend and made the choice that he no longer had any quality of life. I thank our vet team for all they do for our fur babies!!! Frisky lived 12 good years and only the last couple months were not so great health wise. He was loved and he’s very much so missed!
