Wiley

A donation was made in memory of Wiley on Sep 11, 2014.

Wiley (“Adventure Dog!”) walked out of the forest near our house on a mid-June evening in 2000. He parked himself under the bedroom window of his soon-to-be people and howled all night, leading us to think he was a coyote. The next morning we saw that instead it was a dog, a small black and brown puppy. We ran down and took him in and gave him water and food.

He had truly found his forever home. He stayed with us as part of our family for thirteen and a half years, watching over the forest that had brought him to us.

During those years he had an adopted dog sister, Morgan, and seven cat-siblings whom he loved, but who weren’t so crazy about it when he sniffed at them.

He was a happy, adventurous dog all of his days. He is and always will be missed.
