Major was nearly 8 years old when he passed. He was the epitome of "Man's best friend". He touched so many lives, and there wasn't a person he met that didn't instantly fall in love with him. His bark was ginormous, but he was as gentle as they come. Major gave the best hugs, by simply laying his head in your lap, or pushing you into a corner forcing you to pet him. And many children would fall victim to his ability to snatch food right off their plate, if they didn't watch over it close enough. He may not have been a fast dog, but when it came to stealing human food, he was like lightning. He loved to play, even in his senior years, not realizing his strength and size put him at an extreme advantage. His buddy Harley (a 15 lb. Chiweenie) didn't care. It just made her want to play more. And then she would cuddle up with him, and he would tolerate it, even though he may not have wanted her there. Major, you are and always will be the best dog we could have ever asked for. We hope you are running wild and playing with your best buddy Huey up in heaven. We love you and miss you, and we will always hold you close to our hearts.
