Ollie was the offspring of two hunting dogs - a Labrador Retriever and a Springer Spaniel. She came to us via a Craigslist ad when we were still grieving another pet who had passed. It was Christmastime and she was a lovely addition to our family. Always smart and always goofy, she never knew her own size. If food was around, so was Ollie. She took forever to potty-train, but she learned tricks quickly - if food was the reward! She was a faithful companion to Winnie until he passed and a tolerant big sister to Sullivan. She was a boy's best friend to her human brother Matthew. She had many a nickname, including Boggles and Missy Rotten Pants. Never was there a kinder dog. She seemed to live to make others smile, always offering her head for a scratch and rewarding all with a wag. Her absence is felt every day. RIP, sweet girl.
