My Redman was a rescue. The people we got him from said he was a puppy. He was not. They had never taken him to the vet so they didn't really know. We took him right away and got him cared for. He was in bad shape. He could hardly walk and he had bad teeth. After we got him all better he became my shadow. Eventually my unofficial service dog. He went everywhere with me, never left my side. I miss him so much, I still have his picture as the background on my phone and other things. He slept with me and still find my self checking to make sure I am not rolling over on him. He was my best buddy, pal, companion.
