Kozi was picked up as a stray by Kitsap Humane Society. She was a "hard to adopt" due to the fact she was older, had mange, a serious ear infection and was malnourished. She was so down cast that when we stopped at her cage, she didn't bother to lift her head. We knew we had to give her the love she so obviously hadn't never received and didn't expect. With proper care, love, and patience, she turned out to be a total love bug and loved to play with our other canine babies. We miss her with all our hearts.
