I found Stanley on a farm in Royal City after taking on another schnauzer from someone else that died 5 months later. I feel in love with the breed. I went to the farm with the name picked out and asked who was Stan? They all said they were except the little guy in the back...but i KNEW that was HIM. He was named after my Uncle Stan McNaughton who was a very admirable philanthropist. The first night I tried to have him sleep in a crate but the crying got to me. I put him in bed with me and he slept like a rock all night long. From then on it was Stan the Man and me! Everyone loved him, he was gentle, sweet...the strong silent type. He loved cats, big dogs (thought he was a big dog), playing at the lake and snuggling. He adored his Mom and I adored Him! He was the LOVE of my LIFE (one anyway) and I will never forget him and his crazy, quirky schnauzer antics...Even in his illness and passing it was a bitter sweet blessing of LOVE and Spirit...You are the best Stan and my love is enternal as is yours I am sure.
