Lily
A donation was made in memory of Lily by Drs. Burhenn and King at Feline Medical Clinic on Jan 06, 2020.
We saw a frightened cat without fur other than her face at the shelter but a beautiful face. We adopted her along with another cat. Lily was shy and hid under the bed a lot and Allen didn't see her for...we tease, 2 years. When asked when she'd come out, "give her time" and she did.
She adored Allen and was sweet to anyone she met. We spent this past Thanksgiving in the ER and a few days later took her to an oncologist. She did a few chemotherapy treatments only to help with the quality of life.(cats don't get sick with chemo)..our only wish was to keep her comfortable.
She was amazingly healthy, her organs in incredible shape but at 20 she ended up with an aggressive, incurable and rare form of cancer, large cell lymphoma. We said goodbye to our exceptional friend on December 20, 2019. She's at peace...we miss her.
