Marley

A donation was made in memory of Marley by Doctors and Staff of the Pet Loss Hotline on Nov 30, 2009.

Marley was one of 3 puppies born to Rani in 1998. (Rani died from Kidney failure on the 24th November 2006 at the age of 10).

Marley has been a joy to our family, she was always the happy little clown. She was also the boss of the household, whatever Marley said, that's how it was. Her sister Mia and our two cats, Chey and Pud, knew she was the boss.

For ten years she was in and out of the Vet clinic with many operations, but she come out and still she made us laugh, always bouncing around ready to please. She was very friendly, she loved her food, she loved to go for her walks. She was a constant companion and was not far from us at any time.

As she grew older, she slowed down and was diagnosed with a heart murmur which became worse, to the point of being put on the latest and the best medication. At the age of 11 she was admitted to the Animal Vet Hospital with Heart Failure, she was there for one week, slowly she climbed back.

Lately we noticed she was becoming slower, she was losing weight, wouldn't take her medication, was losing control of her bladder. In the end she would not eat for us and just lay and slept the days away. Her Kidneys were failing. I took her to the Vets, they gave her a blood test to find her levels were so elevated they were off their charts.

We decided Marley had had enough, our little clown needed to sleep now. The most loving act was for us was to end her suffering.

We have Marley's ashes buried with her mum Rani, outside our back door beneath my Jasmine bush.

She'll be sadly missed by everybody who loves her.

Marley was eleven and a half.... She died on the 25th November 2009.

Thank you for over 11 years wonderful years with you.

R.I.P. Darling.... We'll all meet again on the ''Rainbow Bridge''.

Mia and Rani

Love Forever.. Your human Mum. (Kayleen)
