In August of 2020 we noticed a small cat sleeping in one of our planters and we started feeding him and providing water, soon we let him move into our garage which started the new life for Buddy as our garage cat, he liked to sleep with our old cat Sam, that's why we called him Buddy, He became Sam's Buddy. Buddy had a snipped ear which we learned it meant that he was a feral cat that had been fixed by our local animal control people. We worked with Buddy over the next months that he lived with us and I was able to pet him and even pick him up and hold him for short times, he even learned to be brushed. Buddy was young, only a few years old. we never knew his age. In September he started looking like he didn't feel well so we decided to catch him and take him to the vet, I was able to pick him up with out much of a fight and place him in our carrier and get him in, That's when we found out he had Cat Leukemia in its advanced stage. We had to let Buddy go but he will always be in our hearts, We have a paw print to remember him with. We will miss our little garage cat. Rest In Peace Buddy Boo, Life was to short for you.
