Odysseus

A donation was made in memory of Odysseus by Dr. Robert Katz and Dr. Raul Ortiz-Umpierre at Stuart Animal Hospital on May 26, 2020.

Odysseus was born on June 21st, 2015 and was literally perfect from the start. He was properly named after mythology's most intelligent general, as he was one of the warmest and intelligent souls we have ever experienced. He never even had an accident in the house while potty training and learned so quickly with everything he was taught. He was blessed to have 3 other older great dane brothers to learn from, and because of his kindness they all accepted him from day 1. He lived every day of his life with happiness and excitement. He loved chasing his regulation sized football and waiting for you to throw it, as well as bouncing his ball to himself playing his own style of basketball. And when our 5th Dane Scooby Doo came to the pack, and was not well liked by the other danes, of course Odysseus took him under his wing and they became best friends! Sadly Odysseusś life was cut short due to Congestive heart failure and he passed to the rainbow bridge on March 13th, 2020. He passed peacefully in the evening happy with his family like every other day of his life. We only wish more people could have met him because he brought joy to every person and animal he ever came across. Sadly Odysseus´s best fiend Scooby Doo passed 2 months later, but a silver lining could be the fact that they are playing together at the rainbow bridge every day from now on. Rest in Peace Odysseus Blue. You were 1 in a million!
