My sweet Sophie came to me at 8 years of age as an owner relinquish. She had a number of medical issues that my wonderful vet took care of within a few weeks. After just 1 week with her, I was smitten. She was a true velcro English Springer spaniel, so affectionate. And she was playful, funny, full of energy....life was filled with love and laughter every day with her. I spoiled her with treats and toys because she deserved it. I knew I was giving her a better life than she had had. And she repaid me with more love and affection than I ever could have expected. She was my heart dog.
