Harley was always a mellow cat - almost nothing bothered him! But he was also a bit of a smart-ass! We used to have a neighbor that had a Wiener dog named Simba who was an older dog. Simba had one of those collars that would shock him when he tried to stray from the yard, so Harley would casually sit just on the other side of the yard's perimeter in the street and bathe himself while Simba barked his head off! When Simba died and the neighbor was burying him, Harley came over and sat at the graveside for about an hour to say goodbye to his buddy, shocking ourselves and the neighbor . Such a sweet and sad thing to do.... I will miss him every day. All of the cuddles and shower visits, and that snarky way he had of demanding his treats..... Love you Harley!
