Here is our favorite photo of Scruffy. He came to our home as a stray and found a perfect place to meet 2 feral girlfriends, all black and became the King of the backyard. No other animals could spend much time in our yard, because Scruffy would give chase and protect his territory. We thought he was feral too, but was surprised he let us pet him and he eventually made his home inside the house where we have 2 of his babies living inside, also. He was the most gentle cat we ever had. He never got mad or bit anyone, even if they tugged his ears or pulled his tail. Look into his eyes and you'll see a remarkable cat named "Scruffy".
