A donation was made in memory of Tootie by
the doctors and staff at Valley Veterinary Hospital on
Dec 29, 2020.
I adopted Tootie from a Petsmart in Boca Raton, FL on April 11, 2006. They had recently saved her from being euthanized. She was about 9 months to 1 year old at the time. She was my wonderful baby girl for 14 years. She was the best Tortie ever! She loved to cuddle and slept with me under the covers, she hugged me and would look adoringly into my eyes! She was with me through some of the most important times in my life: through my 2nd masters thesis, my PhD, several adjunct jobs, and finally my tenure track job. She loved her Granddad and Grammy's porch in North Carolina where she chased little lizards! She was very well behaved and I never had any problems with her jumping on counter tops, begging for food, or disturbing the Christmas tree. She was truly one of a kind and she was my child! She was my Queen and she will never be forgotten. My life became a much richer life because of her and she was my reason for living. She brought me so much joy! I will never have another Tootie and am so lucky that she chose me as her Mommy! Thank you Tootie for your love, I miss you terribly!
