Lysa was our families first horse. She was an Icelandic mare who was game to try most anything. She pulled a cart, she did a little dressage, she did a little jumping, but most of all she was a wonderful trail horse and a wonderful pet. We did everything from winery rides to mountain rides with her, and she never put a foot wrong. She was retired for a number of years, but was pressed into service this past spring and summer for taking our two year old grandson on rides. Lysa always loved kids and she seemed quite proud to be the one on duty. Rest in Peace, Lysa, you were loved by the whole family.
