A donation was made in memory of Sassy by
the doctors and staff at Green Lake Animal Hospital on

Sassy was a "failed" foster dog. We brought her to our home in February of 2010. She had just had surgery at the Seattle Humane Society and we were to care for her for a brief period. However, she had other ideas. Sassy came in to the house, jumped onto the coach and we never looked back. Her first job was to be a companion for my mother, who loved dogs and had dementia. But she was my dog from the very beginning (Donna). Sassy (the name she had when she came to us) was poorly trained, food insecure but the sweetest, most loving dog ever. She was about 5 when we got her. She brought joy to our lives and I miss her every day.
