Rosie was a feisty Tortie that we adopted when she was five years old. She quickly became a big part of our family. Rosie had a unique personality and even people in our family who don't usually like cats gravitated towards her. She never showed a lack of affection to her family and her sister Lemon until she passed. Rosie was not shy to try and steal our dinner that we would be eating, even going as far as pawing the plate when we weren't looking. She once pulled an entire rotisserie chicken off the kitchen counter. Even though we had no dinner that night, we couldn't help but laugh. She liked to curl up in her cat bed by the fire & would always come see us on the couch regardless of how comfortable she was. You could say Rosie was the warrior of the house, going as far as fighting a bat in the middle of the night (no rabies, thankfully!). We would be remiss if we didn't say that she was one of the nicest cats we've ever had and even when she was very sick, she was still a sweet girl. Everyone at the CT Vet Center & East Longmeadow Animal Hospital took great care of her. Dr. Cox at CT Vet Center treated Rosie just as if she was a human patient. We're very grateful to everyone for their care of Rosie. Even though we miss her terribly, we are so grateful for all the years we had with her.
