We rescued Jake, a boxer mix at six yrs. after his owner passed, no one could be found to care for his special needs and he was destined for the corn fields. An auto accident took his left hind leg at 1 yr and he suffered from grand maul seizures every three weeks since then and appeared to always suffer from migraine symptoms. He could never experience his potential as his brain could not recover clearly before another event would scramble his mind. Months passed and he once experienced 13 seizures in four hours and was taken to Summit Vet Referral and an incredibly amazing Dr 'F' accurately diagnosed seizures as localized water on the brain and with treatments he Never had another event. He finally came into his own and had many full expressions and a huge personality and in short he was - as every dog owner will say; super awesome and left us with many great memories and taught me things only a dog can inspire.
