We fortuitously (and unexpectedly) adopted our little teacup poodle Colette from a caring shelter in her fourth year. Though she faced outsized challenges during her first years, she grew into her full 6-pound joyful self readily. She shared her huge personality with us and those she met with playful glee even to her last days.
She adored her big Standard Poodle brother Francois and trekked long miles with him and her humans on her tiny legs, loving every moment she could spend with us on her favorite forest trails and beach walks followed by warm snuggling and long. luxurious lap times. She was very much at the center of lives for almost 13 years, and she will always be remembered as our tiny teacher of living each day to its loving abundance.
