We named her Lone Star to continue a Texas theme. Her mom after all was named Dallas and she did have a white marking on her chest that made it an easy choice of names. Lone Star took affection to a whole new level by burying her head into your chest anytime you knealed down to pet her. She would stay glued to you, pushing as long as you were available to participate. The moans and heavy breathing were her sounds and hers alone. Her love for a human touch was unmatched. An inoperable cancerous groth wrapped around her leg and made life miserable for her. We couldn't stand to think she was hurting any more. The choice was not for us, it was for her and I really think she knew that. We will miss you so much Lone Star. So go run, jump and swim again and say hi to your Mom.
