Sadie passed away far too soon on June 25, 2009. She was only 2 1/2 years old. She was the best friend I could have ever had. When she was 1 1/2 she started having seizures. After many trips to the veterinary neurologist, MRI's, spinal tap, many blood work tests, x-rays and much more, nothing could be found and they called it "epilepsy". Unfortunately, no medicine could help her. She was on four seizure medicines and she would have seizures monthly. We could live with that, because the rest of the month she was happy. But our fear was always the seizures getting out of hand and her clustering again, which happened on the week of June 25, 2009. No medicine would stop them. On the third day we decided we had to do what was right for her, because a third trip to the neurologist and her being put on Valium for another week of her life was not an option, it was just not fair to her. Sadly, we had to say goodbye for now. She was the best dog, protected us even with everything that happened to her. She loved walks, sticks, going to visit her Grandma and Grandpa, her Aunt Rochelle, treats, her kiddie pool, the beach, bird watching, her toy basket, ice cubes, her kong... She was so full of life. And this disease took her life far too soon. We are so hurt and miss you Sadie, so much! We could not have asked for a better girl. You can never be replaced. I can't wait until the day I can see you again. I pray that one day a cure for epilepsy will be found. RIP "Sadie". January 31, 2007- June 25, 2009. RIP Puppy
