"Our sweet Murphy brightened our lives with his presence. He is painfully missed. He was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma in May 2015. Through the care of his vets, our little trooper survived for six additional months and came so close to total remission. Most of that precious time, he was his normal, happy self...chasing squirrels, playing with the grandchildren, "nosing" us for treats, and never losing a pound. We celebrated his 11th Birthday on August 4th appreciating that miraculous event. If we had to do it all over, we wouldn't hesitate to do whatever we could to give him a chance. Murphy suffered a setback in October. As soon as we realized the chemo was no longer effective, we put him to rest. Sweet, sweet Murphy will always have a special place in our hearts. We are so grateful for the advances of veterinary medicine and hope someday every dog will achieve total remission."
