Chewbacca - 4/27/99-4/16/2014
Chewbacca was born under my bed. We named her Chewbacca because she was the biggest of the litter, but it was soon apparent that it was going to be an ironic name – she was the smallest of the litter as they grew, she looked like an Ewok and she was a little princess. She loved to snuggle with her people and she was always the first to start a cuddle puddle of her family. She loved to chew on everything, she demanded wet food, and loved to talk to us all the time.
She was the last of her family, as we lost her mom Crystal in 2013 and her brother Jack and father TInky in 2012. Losing her to kidney failure was devastating, but I’m so happy that her and her family were happy in their last years. Chewbacca is survived by Pucca, who helped us through our grief, and our newest edition Lucy. We are grateful to the Feline Medical Clinic for easing Chewbacca’s passing and our grief.
