Brinlee

A donation was made in memory of Brinlee on Nov 24, 2010.

Though Brinlee was taken way to soon, she provided all who knew her a lifetime of laughs and memories we can hold on to forever.

This sweet puppy was a 50 pound lab stuck in a 5 pound Yorkie body - what we would jokingly refer to as "little dog syndrome". She was the largest small dog I have ever met. Though she acted tough in front of the other dogs, she was the sweetest, most precious puppy to all of her humans. She had a sweet spot for our daughter and the feelings were mutual. The two would sit and play together and provide the rest of us a lot of laughs and good memories.

Not only did she have "little dog syndrome", but she was very much human. She slept under the covers, on her back, with only her head peaking out. Every time she had the chance, she would sneak over to my husbands pillow and nudge him until she had enough room. She always needed something soft to snuggle into, whether it be a dog bed, blanket, clean clothes etc.

Another silly cork was that she also loved feet. Brinlee would come up to your feet and rub her head on them until you would play with her. If you told her no, she would sit right in front of you doing her play growl while her nub was going a million miles an hour. It was a constant reminder that she was there and wanting to play.

Another fond memory is how crazy she would get after her bath time. She would get out and run around the house rubbing and rolling on anything and EVERYTHING in sight trying to get dry. She would just go crazy and sprint around doing her Brinlee run (with her butt nearly touching the ground). If I clapped my hands she would be even more crazy and run even faster. To this day whenever I clap, I remember her reaction and it brings a smile to my face.

You are missed every day precious Brinlee, and I promise I will never let anyone forget. I will see you again one day, and will have a treat ready for you!

We love and miss you Brin ~ Kelsey, Trevor, and K
