Rueger

A donation was made in memory of Rueger by WSU Veterinary Hospital Staff, Students and Clinicians on Feb 27, 2023.

Rueger Wehner 2013-2023 Rue was a very happy and very intelligent German Shepherd. His tail was always wagging and you generally didn’t have to tell him or show him things twice. He put things together with lightning speed. As a young dog, he was a member of the Desert Dog Schutzhund Club and missed winning the longest Hold and Bark contest by 3 seconds. He loved being a working dog and pleasing Kim, his trainer. In his middle years, he loved to smell the flowers, each and every one and keep track of all packages received, thinking they were, perhaps, all his. In his later years, he loved to go for walks, soak up the sun and spend the day with us. His wagging tail followed us everywhere. We are blessed to be given Rue. He was quick, smart, funny, caring, loving, protective and a warrior; and most of all… a very important part of our family. He will be so missed and not forgotten. We would like to thank the members of our Care Team at WSU College of Veterinary Medicine for all their help. Kim and Sharon Wehner

Comments: Such a beautiful tribute of dearest Rue. We will miss his boisterous bark & kisses from the back yard.
