Teo's short life was action packed and we as a family never had a dull moment. We adopted him sight unseen from the Humane Society in Missoula on April 8th 2009. From the first moment we all met, Teo proved to be his own man. Thinking we were getting an 8 lb puppy, Teo surprised us with an 8 week old weigh in of 18lbs! During the 4 hour drive home, he ate a Nyla-bone (we didn't know the 3 pack had an "edible" one in it) and feverishly attacked his bed before a nap. He proved to be a aggressive chewer, only satiated by sage and white bark pine. The many adventures of wood eating and elk poop finding, rafting and learning to swim that first summer took us to Teo's favorite season …. ski season.

Teo always found his true love in winter. He proved to be a very strong and capable ski partner. He often provided the extra motivation to get out the door for quick tour, put in that extra lap or protect his mom from scary things in the dark during evening skate ski missions.

Teo passed on October 8th 2013, having chewed a special hole in our hearts.
