A donation was made in memory of Heide by Doctors and Staff of the Deschutes Animal Clinic on Mar 13, 2012.
Thank you so much for your letter regarding the donation made by Deschutes Animal Clinic Doctor’s & Staff in the passing of our beloved dog, Heide.
Heide was such a special friend to everyone. She never let her pain show, even at the end, except she wanted to be in my lap for the final time. She absolutely loved everyone, animal, person, even the flowers in the yard.
A few years ago, Heide injured her back and couldn’t walk. Since we couldn’t afford the surgery, DAC referred us to a veterinary acupuncturist. She did about 6 treatments on her and never a whimper out of Heide or fear of the needles as she knew it was done for love of her. After the treatments, Heide was able to run with the best. Still somewhat crippled, but no pain and kept up with our other Daschunds. First Mollie and then Pepper.
Heide will be in a special place in our hearts, ALWAYS. And thank you again for your letter and caring help to animals.
