Lady came to us from a friend who could no longer keep her. She had the markings of the Snow Shoe breed. When she came to us she was scared of men but the generous application of kitty treats overcame her fear. When we first got her to our house, we were afraid that she would try to escape and "run home." However, Lady was strictly an indoor cat and never even tried to go outside. While she would move through the house with us as our activities took from room to room she wasn't into cuddling. On the other hand she demonstrated her concern for our well-being by doing "wellness checks" every night between 1AM and 4AM. Those were followed by a request for tummy rubs or "stroke my tail." Her favorite activity was watching the action around the bird feeder in the back yard from the security of the house.
