Hank

A donation was made in memory of Hank by the doctors and staff at Burien Veterinary Hospital on May 21, 2020.

We were blessed to have Hank for just over 13 years. He came to us when our older lab, Kenai was showing signs of separation anxiety. He became the pesky little brother she didn’t know she needed. He was devoted to her and to us. He loved to go on long walks where he would carry his own leash for literally miles. He became a bit of a celebrity wherever we would go. He also loved fishing and hovering over the live well of the boat, staring and “playing” with the fish. He loved to carry things in his mouth whenever he got excited and had a special relationship with the dryer vent where he enjoyed the warm air blowing on his furry bum. We miss his smile, his too-long nails clicking around on the hard floors and we cry when we find tufts of his hair or walk by the spot where his kennel was. Burien Veterinary Hospital took amazing care of both our dogs from the time they were puppies and we are grateful for the donation in Hanks name that will go to benefit other precious animals.
