I first met Mason 13 yrs ago, when Eric & I decided to stop by the Tampa Humane Society “just to look.” I had never had a cat before but found myself adoring this handsome, tiny gray kitten. He was playful and bouncy and so petite! We ended up going home (without a new friend 🐾 ) and went about our day. I got home from work that following day, opened the door and immediately shrieked. I can still picture it clear as day, Eric laying on the couch and that itty bitty gray kitten sleeping on his shoulder. In response to my shriek Mason lifted his little head to look at me, then immediately snuggled back on Eric’s shoulder. He was perfect and I was so happy he was ours. Eric told me he went back to the humane society that morning and asked to see Mason. They handed him to Eric and he told me Mason curled up and fell asleep on his lap. The person that worked there said “I think he chose you.” Thank you for choosing us Mason. 💕 🐾
