Athena was an imposing female Cane Corso - she weighed 140 pounds and had a huge head. Athena loved to sit on our stairway landing, where she could see everything going on inside the house. She barked with a huge and deep bark whenever someone was at the front door. So many times I would open the door while she was standing up there on the landing and people would jump back because she was such an imposing figure. I know she kept my family safe and would sound the alarm anytime anyone was near our home. I miss her so much.
