Samson

A donation was made in memory of Samson by Doctors and Staff of the Morgan Veterinary Clinic on Nov 08, 2010.

Samson was born 4 January 1999 in Coos Bay, Oregon, at a Maine coon cat breeder's house. He was a silver/white, pure bred Maine coon who weighed a solid 20 pounds most of his life. He lived with us and his brother, Phantom, in our Coos Bay home. Phantom is still in good health.
Sam, as we often called him, was extremely affectionate and physically beautiful. He had large, yellow eyes and the long, bushy hair common to his breed. He had the large paws and long legs that are also common to Maine coon cats, and was especially attentive to keeping his paws and claws clean. He had no bad habits like scratching furniture.
Well raised Maine coons are known for being personable, but Sam really liked people. Whenever someone would visit, Sam would walk right up to them and if they were seated on our sofa, he'd hop beside them and gently head-butt them for a petting.
He was a favorite at Morgan Veterinary Clinic, the only place he'd go outside of our home. Staff there were always happy to see him.
Thank you for the opportunity to write this about an animal my wife and I dearly loved.
