Reuben narrowly evaded euthanasia as a stray puppy and overcame neosporosis at the age of 2 to give our family nearly 12 incredible years of his love and companionship.
His legacy will be defined by the deep love he had for his human family, and his eagerness to live each day to the fullest despite some lasting physical challenges.
We are grateful to WSU Veterinary Medicine for the 10 extra years we were able to share with Reuben as a result of their neosporosis diagnosis and exemplary care.
