We adopted Stella when she was 2 years old. She was new to the city and had never swum before, she was a black lab! So, we all had our hands full getting her uses to all the noise and hustle and bustle of the big city of Seattle. She wasn't too sure about her new arrangement until we took her swimming at Luther Burbank on Mercer Island. It took a few visits but once she had her first real swim, she was hooked! Stella LOVED to swim, she was THAT dog, stealing other balls (trying) she wasn't the fastest...She was such a happy girl on any walk. She was just happy to be with her people pack and go on adventures. I was fortunate to bring her to work with me every day and then be home with her for the last five years. We were together 24/7 and it still doesn't feel like I had enough time with her. She was a sweet, wonderful companion and is deeply missed.
