Whitney was the essence of cat. Lithe and athletic. Beautiful and smart. Quick to purr and soft to pet. He took pleasure in jumping over the gate and turning to look at the barking dog. There was no need for him to speak in words--his tail did the talking. Whitney would come when called, or when he heard the treat bag or can lid open. He knew he was the center of attention. If you look closely at the picture, you will see his ear cocked toward the camera. He knew he was posing. Our house is darker without his bright blue eyes. Colder without him on our laps.
