It has been almost a year since we lost our beloved Annie. We met her during the summer when my sister brought her from Spokane after hearing her rescue story. She was found frozen to a porch , left and neglected. As a result she lost most of her tail and had frost bite patches that caused her to have permanent dry bald skin in a few areas. Her first week with us she sat by herself. When she finally opened up to us she was the life of the party. She looked like a teddy bear sometimes and anyone who met her saw how sweet she was. She had so much life left, unfortunately her accidental death brought so much sadness to our family as we had just lost two other family dogs four months before due to old age. Annie who always gave our home life and helped us welcome other dogs into our home will be something we thank her for. All the kids grew up knowing Annie and she loved them. We miss her asking for more pets. We miss her jumps of excitement. We miss the joy and happiness she brought to our home and we hope she is with her other friends.
